KVT Hospital’s Operating Theaters are built for surgeons and surgical nurse to perform surgeries that require focus, precision, saves time and provides safety to get the desired result. An operating theater is a facility within a hospital where surgical operations are carried out in an aseptic environment. KVT hospital has multiple operating theaters to perform different types of surgeries for patients. KVT Hospitals has two Major Operation Theaters which has multiple operating tables and one minor Operation Theater.
Major Operating Theaters
All of the Major Operation Theaters in KVT Hospitals are equipped with latest technology equipments, machinery supporting the operation and sterile instruments required for the operation. All Operation theaters are equipped with C-Arm to view real time anatomical view of the operation.
KVT Hospitals use Neuro microscope for delicate surgeries like micro vascular surgeries and are performed in major OT. Typically all major surgeries are conducted under the use of general anesthesia. Laminar Air Flow is used in KVT Hospitals to minimize contamination by clean air flow to the surgical area and flush out micro organisms.
KVT Hospitals has Ophthalmic operating microscopes with which we can monitor progress on a micro-level providing high contrast and detailed imaging of the organ during operation. The microscopes are adjustable and can focus with high quality images during operation.

Minor Operating Theaters
Minor Operation Theater in KVT Hospitals is equipped with latest technology equipments, machinery supporting the operation and sterile instruments required for the operation. The Operation theater is equipped with microscope to view real time anatomical view of the operation.
KVT Hospitals has minor operating theater to perform minor surgeries and procedures. Typically all minor surgeries are conducted under the use of local regional anesthesia.
All surgeries are performed in Operating Theater using latest equipments in a clean and sterile environment. It’s the ultramodern and ultra-clean OT matching all international sterility protocols and standards.

OT Equipments
There are various equipments used in the operation theater.
Surgical tables are the basic element to any operating theater. A patient lies on the operating table during a surgical procedure. The purpose of the table is to keep the patient in place while the surgeons operate on the patient.
Surgical Lights with great quality lighting is essential for performing intricate procedures in the operating room. Surgical lights are designed to provide bright white light to illuminate the surgical table and eliminate shadows.
Surgical Booms are designed to constrain the electrical cords and removing cluttering of cords from various pieces of equipment in the Operating Theater. Surgical Booms are suspended from the ceiling and would move easily around the Operating Table.
Surgical Displays are used in minimally invasive surgeries and the main purpose is to visually examine and operate the patient anatomy.
Surgical tools are used for surgery and they are latest and sterile tools to perform the operation with high efficiency.
Scrub Sinks are used to scrub their hands before a surgery to keep the environment sterile. Scrub sinks reduces the risk of infection during the operation by providing an ultra clean zone.
Anesthesia work station provides the anesthesia required for the operation.
C-Arm is used providing real time imaging and used in diagnostic procedures, interventional procedures and surgeries.
Ophthalmic and neuro microscope are used to provide high definition real time images during the operation.
KVT Hospitals utilize other supporting mobile equipment as required for the operation.
